CDFL to Prepare TEAM USA for 2012 Euro-American Challenge

Posted on May 1, 2012 by GeorgeSaint

The CDFL is proud to announce that it will be preparing a USA Football Team to compete in the inaugural Euro-American Challenge. The game will take place this fall on Sept 2 in the brand new, state-of-the-art Warsaw National Stadium in Warsaw Poland.  The Europeans have called out the US to test their football prowess and we have accepted the challenge.

The EAC will pit the best free-agent American football players against a European all-star team composed of the best talent from the elite football ranks of countries like Germany, Poland, England, Belgium, Austria and France just to name a few.

This game is designed to be the first ever International Scout Bowl. Scouts from every major football league in North American and Europe have already confirmed their attendance. The game promoters have guaranteed a fan turnout of at least 20,000, and it will be broadcast live on Polish international television as well as streamed live worldwide via the net. A domestic TV broadcast of the game is still being negotiated and will be announced in June.

This trip will be fully funded for the US Team. Making it onto this team means that you are one of the best free agent football players in the world.  Not only must you be a great athlete, you must also possess great character. If you are representing the US, you are more than just a player; you are an ambassador for your country and a representative of its most beloved sport.

Because this is unprecedented opportunity to be seen by every substantial football franchise worldwide, the selection process for this team will be highly competitive.  Everyone on this team will be seen by scouts from the NFL, CFL, UFL, Arena Leagues, PLFA, EFL and every other major European league. The CDFL has partnered with a prominent sports agency to provide our players with top-notch representation if they need it.

The first step is to get invited to the exclusive 100 Man USA TEAM Tryout,” or if you cannot make the tryout, get picked for further consideration after a highlight tape and/or game film is sent in. EVERY application and tape that is submitted will be reviewed.

Below are the criteria for applying and the list of what has to be done to secure your roster spot!
